ACCA: CLIMATE CHANGE ATLAS OF THE AMERICAS - BETA VERSION



INTRODUCTION


The general objective is to consolidate, strengthen, propel and disseminate theoric and methodologic knowledge among research groups on criteria and indicators related to climate change , as well as its translation to a dynamic Atlas with cartography and case studies across the Americas.

Specific objectives include the following:

1. Form a network of researchers on climate change, among professionals from different countries that make up the Americas.
2. Analyze case studies of climate change conditions in different geographical areas and/or different topics in America.
3. Make maps, comments and graphs on a continental scale, of different climatic, economic and environmental indicators.
4. Generate a working methodology that allows to keep case studies and continental studies up to date.
5. Create a digital and dynamic Atlas of Climate Change of the Americas. 6. Generate a Good Practice Bank.
7. Conduct meetings, workshops, seminars, courses, conferences and other events with thematic network researchers and other collaborators, to disseminate, exchange and socialize knowledge underpinned by the thematic network and to arrange objectives proposed by this network.
8. Consolidate the thematic network during the development of the proposal for its sustainability once the proposed objectives have been completed.
